Ascending,
Descending, Extending |

As I keep thinking to what extent is it
feasible to attempt to map the course of
transpersonal development, I try to bring
together the wide range of transpersonal
theories to see if it is possible to integrate
them into one map. We’ve got Wilber’s Structural
Theory model, Washburn’s Psychodynamic approach,
Grof’s Transpersonal Psychology and Holotropic
Breathwork, Sri Aurobindo’s Integral Psychology,
the Eastern Philosophies (Hindu and Buddhist),
the Analytical Psychology of C. G. Jung, R.
Assagioli’s Psychosynthesis model, the more
Feminist Theories, the Participatory Vision of
Transpersonal understanding, as well as the
Shamanic and Indigenous Traditions. In front of
so many perspectives and some of them opposite
to one another, I ask myself if we really see
the world as it is or if we see the world as we
are, or a mixture of both. |

Psychological Projections and the Spiritual Path |
Pepón
Jover |
Mayo 2008 |
|
| |
After a long period of time experiencing and
questioning myself about what spirituality and
being called spiritual is about, I have reached
the conclusion that it has to do with the
transformative experience of approaching and
reconnecting again with a dimension within us
which is beyond our ordinary sense of ego and
identity and frees us from suffering. In other
words, spirituality is the personal journey
towards the discovery of who we really are,
and such gradual discovery and realization is
completely life transformative. |

Awakening to the Field of Consciousness. World's
Spiritual Transformation. |
Pepón
Jover |
Ene. 2008 |

In this paper I will explore the concept of
“field of consciousness” within current theories
and scholars, going through discoveries on
quantum physics, parapsychology and
transpersonal psychology which constitute the
ground in order to build up and understand a
“field of consciousness”. Lastly I will consider
the implications of such a field for social
transformation. The main conclusion I have
reached is that personal transformation and
spiritual awakening help global transformation
given the fact that there is a “field of
consciousness” through which we are all
connected at an unconscious level. In other
words, given this collective unconscious, what
one person achieves within himself through
personal transformation will be helping humanity
to move forward in the same direction. So as the
number of individuals that awaken to the need
for consciousness´ transformation increases, the
stronger will be the unconscious influence on
the whole of humanity. |

Un nuevo
nacimiento en la libertad: reseña de
espiritualidad creativa: una visión
participativa de lo transpersonal, de Jorge N.
Ferrer. |

radicalmente expandido: Oriental y occidental,
antiguo y contemporáneo, esotérico y místico,
chamánico y terapéutico, ordinario y no
ordinario, humano y cósmico. |

¿Por qué una
psicología trans-personal? |
Michèle Jolibert |
Agot. 2006 |
|

años atrás: “We’ve had one hundred years of
psychotherapy and we’re worse tan before”

The Masculine and Feminine Dimensions of
Consciousness |
Pepón Jover |
Dic. 2006 |
|
| |
Transformation is evolution, and only begins
when both complementary opposites are put
together (Hart, 2000, p.158). As I have
explained before, concerning consciousness, we
tend to understand and give sense to it in the
same way as we experience it. If our experience
of consciousness remains in the masculine
aspect, and we have not experienced the feminine
one in some way, we will not be able to see
neither to understand how the feminine dimension
could exist.. |

Wisdom as the Integration between the Ascending
and Descending paths |
Pepón Jover |
Enero
2007 |
|
| |
Within contemporary theory of
transpersonal psychology, we find two main
approaches that favour opposite paths of
transformation towards transpersonal. The
discussion between both theoretical approaches
had been called the “ascender/descender debate”
(Wilber, 1995). On one hand, we have the
immanent-horizontal-descending position, while
in the other a transcendental-vertical-ascending
position (Daniels, 2005, p.27)... |

Inteligencia

Yo me pregunto: ¿cómo se
desarrolla la inteligencia emocional? ¿cómo se
adquieren todos esos hábitos tan fantásticos?.
Según parece, la clave de la inteligencia
emocional está en... |

¿Una moda o
una necesidad? |

¿A qué se debe que la
Inteligencia Emocional (IE) esté en boca de
tantos profesionales?.

XVII... |
